Degaussing, also known as bulk erasing, permanently removes all data, formatting and control track information from tapes, hard drives and diskettes.  A strong focused magnetic field envelopes the media changing the magnetic properties of the entire data area in seconds.  Degaussing erases working and non-working media ensuring proper data security before re-use or disposal. 
Global NIS Inc will first degauss your items and then shred/staple hard drives or tapes.
            Lockbox Solution

  • We ship you an appropriate sized locked container with return shipping lable
  • Customers simply fill the cases with the media to be destroyed, then seal the cases with the locks and the serialized tag
  • Ship the case[s] back to Global NIS, Inc.
  • A manager from Global NIS, Inc will sign for the case[s] from the shipping company to provide an auditable chain of custody.
  • Contents will be verified then immediately destroyed.
